From upset forging to custom ring geometries, we deliver precision-forged steel rigging rings for the most demanding industrial applications.
We produce forged rings in nearly all material grades, with maximum forging diameters up to 26 inches and piece weights up to 1,500 pounds—ideal for heavy-duty rigging ring applications.
Custom-forged rigging rings tailored to exact dimensional and material specifications, combining cutting-edge forging technology with time-honored American craftsmanship for unmatched durability.
In-house normalizing heat treatment refines the grain structure of forged rings, producing uniform mechanical properties, improved tensile strength, and enhanced toughness for demanding service environments.
Post-forging rough machining removes excess material and brings rigging rings close to net shape, reducing lead times and eliminating the need for a secondary machining vendor.
Contour forging services accommodate a diverse range of specialty materials including duplex stainless steels, enabling precise ring profiles for aerospace, defense, and energy sector requirements.
Special forgings produced to stringent quality standards including Mil I 45208, NCA 3800, and Mil Q9858, with full traceability and compliance documentation for regulated industries.
MTS Forge's forged steel rigging rings are engineered for industries where failure is not an option.
