Yes. MTS Forge can produce upset forgings, rings, and cylinders up to 26 inches in diameter and up to 1,500 pounds per piece. Our flanges are manufactured up to 14 inches in size, and sawing services accommodate materials up to 16 inches in outer diameter. For projects outside standard ranges, our custom forging capabilities allow us to engineer solutions around specific military program requirements.

Yes. Our Coatesville, PA facility performs in-house normalizing heat treatment, the most commonly specified heat treatment for hot forgings. Normalizing eliminates the uneven grain growth and internal stresses created during forging, producing a refined, uniform microstructure with consistent tensile strength, toughness, and machinability — properties that are critical for components used in defense, aerospace, and nuclear applications.
