Closed Die Forgings
We produce nickel alloy closed die forgings — including Monel K-500 — that minimize raw material waste and reduce machining costs, delivering consistent, near-net-shape check valve bodies at lower unit cost.
When critical systems demand zero-tolerance performance, MTS Forge delivers forged nickel alloy check valves built to withstand extreme pressure, corrosive media, and high-temperature environments. Serving aerospace, defense, power generation, and gas & petroleum sectors from our Coatesville, PA facility, our components combine metallurgical expertise with precision forging — ensuring every valve meets the most demanding application requirements.

Comprehensive forging and finishing services to deliver high-performance nickel alloy check valve components to exact specification.
We produce nickel alloy closed die forgings — including Monel K-500 — that minimize raw material waste and reduce machining costs, delivering consistent, near-net-shape check valve bodies at lower unit cost.
Our contour forging capability shapes complex nickel alloy geometries required for check valve internals, accommodating a wide range of high-performance alloys suited to corrosive and high-pressure service environments.
In-house normalizing heat treatment refines grain structure in forged nickel alloy components, ensuring uniform mechanical properties, improved toughness, and the microstructural reliability required for critical valve applications.
Post-forging rough machining brings nickel alloy check valve forgings to near-net shape in-house, reducing lead times and eliminating the need for a separate machining vendor while maintaining tight dimensional control.
We manufacture special forgings to stringent industry standards — including Section III nuclear applications — with a Quality Assurance Program covering Mil I 45208, NCA 3800, and Mil Q9858 for full traceability.
Custom-forged nickel alloy check valve components tailored to exact customer specifications, combining advanced forging technology with decades of metallurgical expertise to meet the highest standards of durability and performance.
From Pennsylvania's Coatesville facility, MTS Forge produces forged nickel alloy check valves engineered for the extreme demands of gas & petroleum pipelines, power generation systems, and defense platforms. Our large tooling inventory enables net-shape forging rather than machining from bar, significantly reducing material costs while delivering superior grain flow and mechanical integrity. Every component is produced under a rigorous Quality Assurance Program with complete traceability — because in critical applications, there is no margin for failure.
